A photographer at Comfest in Columbus, Ohio captured a first grader named Zea in a face off with a preacher spreading hate after the SCOTUS ruling making gay marriage legal. The man preached down to the little girl bent down looking directly at her.?People passing by fist bumped and gave her high fives as she stood there refusing to move. A lot of children would be crying at the notion of hell fire and brimstone. It’s a scary thought. However,?this little girl?wasn’t scared and?stood up for the rights of others.
On top of this, she wasn’t even there to protest. She was volunteering and was?on her way to spend her volunteer tokens on pizza. She saw something that was wrong, stopped, and stepped up. How many of us can say that we’ve done that?
