We all know that Liz is from the deep south. This means I was born with arteries already slightly clogged thanks to the south’s deep love for all things fried and tasty. Did you know you could fry pizza rolls? I learned that last year.
At our little street festivals which are poor excuses for selling really bad merchandise and hocking food, there are trucks dedicated completely to fried goods. Ever heard of a fried Snickers bar? Fried Oreo? I promise I avoided those. However, I did have the fried gator on a stick. It was delicious, and amazingly, I did not die from food poisoning.
Eventually though, I do draw the line and say “Enough is enough!” This is where that line is drawn. I flat out draw the line at a deep fried Big Mac, damnit.
