As a parent, I have often thought that the only fears our children have when they’re young are the ones we impose upon them with our words and actions. Otherwise, they are fearless and willing to try just about any new adventure that presents itself.
But four-year-old?L?a Langumier may just be one of the bravest little girls I have ever seen. She has been flying with her father, Raphael, since she was only two! Raphael?owns an aerobatic training and flight testing company in Quebec, and wondered if his daughter was ready to experience what it feels like to fly upside down. He said:
“I wanted to make sure she wouldn’t panic in the air.?But I really just wanted to make sure it would be a pleasant experience for her.”
Man, was it ever!
This amazing little bundle of excitement and bravery loved the upside down maneuver, even telling her dad:
“Papa, I want my head upside down again!”
Not surprisingly,?L?a wants to stay close to the thrill of flight when she grows up. She has already informed her daddy that she wants to be a stewardess.
