Since having my son, I am no longer a calm person. I wouldn’t say I’m a helicopter mom by any means. I don’t do everything for him. I don’t freak out over germs. He’s allowed to have candy. But, I’d like to think this nervous energy I have is because I can see every possible accident that can occur from jumping on the bed, jumping on the couch, and jumping in my armchair. Yes, we are in a jumping phase.
However, I’ll take jumping on the bed, couch, my armchair over what this dad does with his kid.
Jared Braden takes his 1-1/2-year-old son Jett skateboarding with him?by way of a modified?longboard. Braden is with a company called Braden Boards that sells longboards, which is a skateboard that’s longer and generally?faster. Yes, I had to Wikipedia that. Yes, I feel completely uncool.

I will stop gasping every time my husband does some weird daddy and son trick that?all moms cringe at. I know they are going fairly slow in the video. But as my mom would say, “I would need a Xanax as big as my a**” to be able to watch my own son do this. More power?though to this family for finding something awesome to do together and having nerves of steel!
