I am appalled! How dare NRA board member, Charles Cotton, blame Clementa Pinckney, victim of the Emanuel AME Church mass shooting, for his own death? Not only that, Cotton also laid the death of the eight other shooting victims?at Pinckney’s feet!

Cotton Blames Victims
Cotton wrote onTexasCHLForum.com, a message board,
?Eight of his church members who might be alive if he had expressly allowed members to carry handguns in church are dead.?Innocent people died because of his position on a political issue.?
Instead, Pinckney spent an hour in his prayer group at the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church trying to convince the killer, Dylann Storm Roof, to change his mind. The pastor was such a good man, dedicated to helping others through his church and through the state government.
Pinckney and the other members of his Wednesday-evening prayer group should have been surrounded with safety – within the sacred walls of their church. But they were not.
An unholy man walked through the church’s welcoming doors, picked up one of Cotton’s so-deemed precious killing weapons, and shot nine good people to death with his gun.
Cotton’s disrespectful words are filled with coldness mere days after the shooting – when many from Charleston and spread across the country, and even the world, are still grieving.
What kind of man talks this way when people are filled with such sharp and deep mourning? A person who blames Senator Pinckney who voted against a bill allowing people to carry concealed guns in churches.
