10 Reasons To Not Use Christian Homeschooling Curriculum

One of my concerns about homeschooling (keep your opinions to yourselves on socialization please) is finding a secular curriculum. It’s not that I have a major issue with Christianity. I just don’t want it mixed into science, literature, and history. I definitely want to avoid religion-affiliated curriculum after seeing these questions from the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) which is a curriculum used by many homeschoolers today.

Alternet’s Jonny Scaramanga wrote about his four-year experience in an ACE school and shared:

“ACE workbooks consist of simplistic fill-in-the-blank and multiple choice questions. And these questions are often hilariously, spectacularly bad.”
