Ladies and gentlemen, if you are unfamiliar with the exploits of Jiff the Pomeranian, you have not lived.

Jiff the Pomeranian is a darling of social media. Known for his adorable and hilarious exploits, Jiff the Pomeranian boasts 1.3 million?followers on Instagram and nearly 25,000 on YouTube, all of which?must?find themselves in adoration. On Monday, Jiff’s new Instagram video was uploaded, to the delight of (at the time of this writing) over 83,000 people.

With Chamillionaire bumping behind him, Jiff the Pomeranian cruises in a Tonka truck past colas and chips because he’s Jiff and he can.

Of course, “ridin’ dirty” in a Tonka truck isn’t the only awesome thing Jiff has done. Jiff the Pomeranian has also set Guinness world records?– twice! Jiff has the record for fastest 5 meters on front paws and fastest 10 meters on back.

Jiff the Pomeranian has been on national television, notably on Good Morning, America and SportsCenter.

Jiff has channeled his inner Elvis.

Jiff also had a cameo in Katy Perry’s music video for “Dark Horse.”

When I first saw Jiff riding the Tonka truck through grocery store aisles, I admit, I didn’t think he was real. Apparently, I’m not the only one who wasn’t initially convinced this canine wunderkind was anything more than a stuffed animal that could move. From The Huffington Post:

“‘When Jiff first walked into our offices, we weren’t even sure he was real! He looks like a living, breathing cuddly toy. He might be tiny but he’s got a huge personality, and his wealth of talents can’t be doubted,’ Guinness World Records editor Craig Glenday said in a press release.”

Perhaps the difficulty in distinguishing him from a stuffed animal at first glance is a testament to how adorable Jiff is. Of course, this video makes me wonder…

Whatever happened to my old Tonka truck?

Robert could go on about how he was raised by honey badgers in the Texas Hill Country, or how he was elected to the Texas state legislature as a 19-year-old wunderkind, or how he won 219 consecutive games of Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots against Hugh Grant, but those would be lies. However, Robert does hail from Lewisville, Texas, having been transplanted from Fort Worth at a young age. Robert is a college student and focuses his studies on philosophical dilemmas involving morality, which he feels makes him very qualified to write about politicians. Reading the Bible turned Robert into an atheist, a combative disposition toward greed turned him into a humanist, and the fact he has not lost a game of Madden football in over a decade means you can call him "Zeus." If you would like to be his friend, you can send him a Facebook request or follow his ramblings on Twitter. For additional content that may not make it to Liberal America, Robert's internet tavern, The Zephyr Lounge, is always open
