Police Officers Assault Young Black Teenage Girl Pushes Her Face Into The Grass

This raw video footage takes place in McKinney, Texas. It is still unclear exactly when this incident took place, but this video was very recently uploaded.

The story we’ve heard so far is that the police officers were called to a pool party; the official reason is still unknown. Although it is being said that neighbors noticed that there were too many black kids at the party and became concerned. Keep in mind this has not been substantiated, it’s just as likely that it was a noise complaint. And I plan to update this story as more information becomes available.

This is a raw video uploaded about an hour ago. So I apologize if I can’t provide complete context, and all screenshot photos are from the video, which is why they’re blurry.

What is clear in the video, is that at least one of the police officers has serious anger management issues, and shows defenseless kids who’s boss. You see him lording over the kids, forcing them to the ground?and then handcuffing the black kids for no particular reason. When some teenage girls dare to question him, he threatens them.

The most disturbing scene is when he physically forcing one black teenage girl wearing a two-piece bikini face first onto the grass, pushing her head into the dirt. Yelling:

“On Your Face!”

I understand that many people will say, “we don’t know the whole story,” “if she just complied…,”and that the police needed to “control the situation.” I would like any white parents who would defend this video to imagine watching police officers treat their son or daughter this way.

This isn’t about race; it’s about abuse of power and the confidence that no matter what, they will get away with abusing our rights. It’s very likely that nothing will happen to this officer.

Police officers want people to care about “blue lives,” especially when an officer is killed or injured in the line of duty. But when people see and experience things like what’s in this video, those expectations become more and more unrealistic. Not one of the other officers came to the aid of the girl as she was being humiliated, and her dignity stripped away by this imposing unnecessary force under non-threatening circumstances. It’s not even clear if they believed any crimes had been committed.

We will still wait for the “whole story,” but somehow I get the feeling the police officers will have a much different “version of events” in their police reports. Just another day in America’s police state as black childhood continues to be criminalized.

Here is the video, judge for yourself.

“The McKinney police officer in question has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation, police representative Sabrina Boston said. ?The name of the officer had not yet been released. Police said they learned of the online video after it was uploaded to YouTube Saturday.

An initial caller reported a disturbance to police Friday at about 7:15 p.m. local time (8:15 p.m. EDT). Several other callers called to report teens actively fighting near the pool.?Nine McKinney police units were sent to the scene, Boston said. The video shows several people running away when officers arrived on the scene. Some of the officers gave chase to the runners.

In the video, the now-suspended officer is seen commanding some teens to sit on the ground and shoving others. Police eventually got the situation under control, Boston said. She did not indicate whether arrests were made.”
