Fox News Host Thinks Diversity Training For Students Is Bad Idea Because Of ‘Transsexuals’ And ‘Stuff That’s Gross’

We’ve all know for a long time that Fox News host Steve Doocy is a complete moron. I’ve often thought he should go ahead and have his name legally changed to Steve Duncey, because if anyone deserves to be wearing a dunce cap when he appears on camera, this is the guy.

But Doocy has really outdone himself this time. Earlier today, during a discussion on “Fox and Friends,” which is about as intellectually advanced as a physics seminar for lemurs, Doocy decided to weigh in on the issue of whether or not children should be taught about diversity and tolerance for those they may encounter who are different from them.

Specifically, a reference was made to a Dutch?curriculum which teaches ?sexuality education? to 4-year-old students. The same system may soon make it’s way into American classrooms. The training is designed to encourage ?open, honest conversations about love and relationships? and not to teach students about sex. Some principles of the Dutch class include sexual diversity ?lessons that encourage respect for others and also provide skills to protect against abuse. Nothing wrong with that, is there?

One of ?Doocy’s guests,?parenting blogger Cherie Corso, remarked:

?When you were 4 years old, you didn’t have the Internet, you didn’t have the Web, you weren’t bombarded by these sexually explicit messages like the kids are today. The earlier we start teaching kids about sexuality and being responsible for your body, there is lower teen birth rates, there is lower amounts of sexual abuse because they can identify it sooner.?

Another guest, a conservative former teacher,?Whitney Neal, disagreed with Corso:

?Not at age 4! And not in school! A parent has the right to decide when and how they want to discuss these issues with their child.?

Corso then said she had recently had such a conversation with her daughter, who is 11:

?I just had to explain to my daughter what transsexual was based on all this information that was out there. She’s 11 years old and the children are saying when they’re younger, ?Yeah, I like this one. Maybe I’m gay, maybe I’m not.? Children say crazy things and I think we need a group of people to help them and guide them through.?

Doocy, apoplectic and flustered, interjected this bit of lunacy:

?At age 11, a lot of kids have questions because they have smartphones and stuff like that. But you would think at age 4 that most parents would not allow kids to be on the Internet to fish around for stuff that’s gross.?

Oh, Steve, you do make us laugh with your naive ignorance of all things relevant and contemporary. But you really should change your name to Duncey so viewers are forewarned about the idiocy you’re about to spew out.
