True Detective is a drama crime series on HBO. Its first season featured actors Woody Harrelson?and Mathew McConaughey. The two actors play homicide detectives Martin Hart and Rustin Cohle, set in rural south Louisiana during the 1990s. The show features some of the best dialog and acting on television. It is critically acclaimed and has a very loyal fan base.
