North Korea Claims It Can Miniaturize Nuclear Weapons

North Korea said on Wednesday that it not only has the technology to miniaturize nuclear weapons, but that it has already done so. The D.P.R.K., or Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, as they prefer to be called, claims that it has attached nuclear warheads to missiles. It also claims to have test-launched two ballistic missiles from a submarine.

In a statement released Wednesday by the state-run official news agency, K.C.N.A., North Korea said:

“The D.P.R.K. has reached the stage of ensuring the highest precision and intelligence and best accuracy of not only medium- and short-range rockets, but long-range ones…The D.P.R.K. has reached the stage of ensuring the highest precision and intelligence and best accuracy of not only medium- and short-range rockets, but long-range ones.”

American and European specialists, however, say that these claims are ridiculous. North Korea has a habit of saying lot’s of things, like that it found a unicorn lair. Adm. James A. Winnefeld Jr., vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, said that the claims are simply hogwash, and that North Korea has come pretty far in terms of digital media editing, but not as far when it comes to nuclear weapons:

?They have not gotten as far as their clever video editors and spinmeisters would have us believe…They are many years away from developing this capability. But if they are eventually able to do so, it will present a hard-to-detect danger for Japan and South Korea, as well as our service members stationed in the region.?

The truth is, it’s hard tellin’ not knowin’, but with the amount of lies spouted out by North Korea, it’s probably safe to say mini nuclear weapons are not being attached to North Korean missiles. They might claim that they can do that, but North Korea also claims that Kim Jong Un climbed the country’s highest mountain in dress shoes before dawn.
