Yuck! Woman Allegedly Puts Shaved Skin In Roommates’ Milk

We’ve all dealt with nightmare roommates. From hosting all-night parties to leaving shaved hair in the shower drain, the list of problems can go on and on. However, this really takes the cake – or milk, if you will. It’s enough to put you off dairy products for life. Shaved ice is one thing, but shaved skin is another.

Sarah Schrock, a 56-year-old resident of Mechanicsville, Maryland, decided to do something completely revolting. She took skin from the bottom of her feet and put it in a gallon of milk – without telling her roommates about her little scheme. She has been charged with second-degree assault, along with poisoning a drink, which is a felony.

What happened to bring about this turn of events? The Washington Post obtained a statement from St. Mary’s County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Cara Grumbles:

On May 1, one of her roommates obtained a peace order against Schrock. The order, similar to a restraining order, did not bar Schrock from the rooming house but did ban her from having contact with that roommate. Grumbles did not know why the roommate originally obtained the peace order. Two days later, Schrock was arrested for breaking the order.

She came back to the rooming house that night, and spent most of the next day, May 4, alone in the house.

Rawstory sheds more light on the situation with the following:

Two roommates were at Schrock’s residence on May 4 when they began choking after drinking a glass of milk, police said. The roommates then coughed up what appeared to be human skin shavings, according to police. A third person, seeing their reaction, emptied her glass in the sink. The roommates poured the milk through a strainer and discovered bits of shaved skin similar to the kind Schrock keeps in trays in her bedroom, police said.

Schrock is set for a hearing on June 2.
