In this video citizens of Santa Ana are addressing the Mayor and city council at a public meeting being held in a city building. Someone is wearing a “Fuck The Police” hat, and the major asks that person to remove it. He refuses.
At that point the Major tells everyone they have to leave, and everyone refuses. That’s when the police come in and threaten to arrest everyone if they don’t leave.
What happens next is a clear example of people standing together for freedom of speech against the powers who have forgotten that they serve us, and not themselves.
