Even though I’m a guy, I have to admit I’m a sucker for a really original marriage proposal. Yeah, I mean the ones where the guy has a band playing beneath the window while he goes to one knee and pledges his undying love for the woman. Guess I’m just a hopeless romantic.
So when I stumbled across a story from Norway where a father had his 5-year-old son ask the question, I was bowled over with the beauty of the moment where the son looks at the prospective bride and asks:
“Will you marry, marry my? my dad??
Andr? Nordstrand and his son, Kristian, were on a mountaintop picnic with Andre’s girlfriend. In the video Andre uploaded to YouTube, Kristian is seen handing a “secret” gift to the unsuspecting young lady.?In the package was a ring and a 3D-printed raider inspired by ?Battlestar Galactica.? Andre designed both himself, and said he knew his son would be glad to be his wingman for the proposal:
?I prepared him well before and promising him a toy he really wanted if he helped me.?Was really no problem, he was super excited anyway, really likes my girlfriend.?
