Anti-Gay GOP Member Outed Via Internet Ads He Placed…Blames Gay Smear Campaign

North Dakota Republican state lawmaker?Randy Boehning is known as being exceptionally anti-gay. Which is ironic when you consider that he has been placing ads on the Internet seeking to meet gay men for sex.

Boehning claims that his once-secret habit of sending nude photos of himself to men on the web site Grindr under the username ?Top Man!? is his own business and would never have been made public unless?pro-gay lawmakers in the state didn’t harbor hatred for him due to his numerous votes against gay rights. He even went so far as to say the whole incident was “payback” by homosexuals for his beliefs.

All together now: WTF!??How big of a hypocrite can one man possibly be?

Here’s how Rep. Boehning’s secret life was finally exposed, according to The Forum:

“The exchange came to light when Dustin Smith, a 21-year-old Bismarck man with no known connections to the Capitol, contacted The Forum earlier this month, saying he recognized Boehning from a gay dating smartphone app called Grindr. Chatting under the user name Top Man!, Boehning sent Smith sexually suggestive messages and, in the early morning hours of?March 12, an unsolicited photo of his penis, according to exchanges reviewed by The Forum. ‘How can you discriminate against the person you’re trying to pick up?’ Smith said in a recent interview.”

Initially, Boehning wouldn’t say if “Top Man!” was actually him, but then relented and nonchalantly admitted:

?That’s how things happen on Grindr. It’s a gay chat site. It’s not the first thing you do on that site. That’s what we do, exchange pics on the site.?

Yet the North Dakota lawmaker still just doesn’t get it. His votes have made life more difficult for other gay residents of his state. But all he could do was proclaim his personal relief:

?The 1,000-pound gorilla has been lifted. I have to confront it at some point.?

What I’d like to know most of all is this: How does this man–this hypocrite among hypocrites–live with himself when it just so happens that he was one of the key votes against a bill that would have?protect the LGBT community from discrimination at businesses? That bill failed thanks to him and his GOP brethren.

Some people, it would seem, have no shame. None at all.
