Tigers Freed From Filthy Cages Go Swimming For The First Time

Last year, two majestic tigers, named Carli and Lily, were mercifully rescued from where they were being held in what was described as a “filthy, dirty cage” in Buffalo, New York.

The two tigers were initially frightened and tentative. They were animals that should have been wild, yet they had been kept like trophies in an environment that must have been daily torture to them.

Then the International Fund For Animal Welfare (IFAW) got involved and Carli and Lily were relocated to the Safe Haven Rescue Zoo in Nevada.

When the tigers got to their new location, they were reluctant to try the water pools that had been set up for them at the zoo, but as you can see in the video below, they soon adapted and realized just how good cool water can feel to a big cat in the noonday heat.

This video, I firmly believe, will put a huge smile on your face and reaffirm your belief in what can happen when man treats animals with the care and love they so richly deserve.
