The St. Charles Police Tactical Team worked with the Ferguson Police Department in the standoff negotiations. The home is located in the 400 block of Warford Street in Ferguson.

The shooting victim was transported to a hospital and was still conscious and responsive.

Due to the danger, Ferguson Middle School and Johnson Wabash Elementary School were on lockdown during the standoff. The lockdown has ended and been allowed to go home unharmed.

This was yet another opportunity to see how the police interact with the Ferguson community they are supposed to protect. Score one for the police.
