Obama Aims To Shoot Down Corporations’ Secret Campaign $$$

President Obama wants a constitutional amendment to slap the hands of corporations reaching into the political cookie jar to steal yet another election. Citizens United lets corporations give unlimited amounts of money to elections.

How did corporations become people? The majority of Supreme Court Justices waved their magic wands in 2010, and with a black-magic chant, turned corporations into people.

Citizens United is their strange way of saying that big biz is just one of the boys.?In an interview with “Vox,” the president said:

?I would love to see some constitutional process that would allow us to actually regulate campaign spending the way we used to, and maybe even improve it.?

Imagine how much dark money flowed downhill ?from our good friends like Walmart, BP and Goldman Sachs.?Oh yes, don’t forget the bazillionaire brothers Koch.

These bad boys bought you wonderbrains:

  • Gov. Test-Welfare-Urine Scott (R-Fla.)
  • Gov. I’m-Not-Crazy LaPaige (R-Maine)
  • Gov. What-Is-Number-3 Perry (R-Texas)
  • Gov. Union-Busting Kasick (R-Ohio)
  • Gov. Don’t-Recall-Me Scott (R-Wis.)
  • Gov. Auction-Off-Detroit Snyder (R-Mich.)
  • Gov. Don’t-Ejukate-Us Corbett (R-Pa.)
  • Gov. No-Hispanics-Wanted Brewer (R-Ariz.)
  • Gov. Burn-Your-Books Brownback (R-Kan.)

With good reason, Obama wants a radical change in campaign finance laws. Politicians want to ban political action committees (PACs). These groups’ secret money was more than the candidates’ in 28 of the 2014 elections.

If the amendment fails, instead of spending $1 billion on elections, we will be spending $4 trillion, as we do in MidEastern wars.

According to Rep. Jerry McNerney (D-Calif.):

?The system was pretty bad before.?Citizens United?just made it worse. It changed from an arms race to a nuclear-arms race.?

So far, 16 states support overturning Citizens United. I say, shoot down secret election money!
