Newly Discovered Sparklemuffin Peacock Spider Just Wants To Dance

Recently, two brand new species of Peacock Spider were discovered in Australia. One is called the Sparklemuffin Peacock Spider and the other is the Skelatorus. Yes, you read that first one right. Sparklemuffin.

Peacock spiders belong to the family of jumping spiders, and males are known for their elaborate dance routines. The male spiders, when they get all hot and bothered by some sexy lady spider, get their dance on and shake their groove thang.

The male spiders hope to impress the ladies with their sexy dancing. This, of course, is the same seduction method used by Marcus Bachmann, Michele Bachmann’s husband.

I’m inclined to believe that the spiders have better moves, though. But you can decide for yourselves. Check out the epically awesome video of Peacock Spiders dancing to YMCA below.
