Sarah Palin: Will (Threaten To) Run For $$

Sarah Palin is at it again. She’s thinking about running for president! One thing you can say for her is that she doesn’t let the grass grow under her feet. Or, put another way, she doesn’t let her PAC dip below a certain amount – $1 million seems to be the threshold. Open Secrets.com reports on the financial status of political PACs, and it indicates that in 2014 Palin’s put out more than it brought in. Time to rally the troops.

Of course, Palin has a different spin on why she is considering (making a fool of herself again) running for president. She expressed it in what may be the world’s longest run-on sentence in response to a question by Sean Hannity about her thought process re running for president (per politicususa.com):

?My thought process personally and near and dear to my heart of course obviously would be my family and receiving their blessing to go forth first and foremost, and of course being a Christian, putting my life in God’s hands seeking guidance and inspiration divinely as to whether to run or not that’s at the top of the list, but as for the practical logistical steps you take, yes, I have a small team, and that would expand if any decision were to be made to move forward, and in the meantime, you know, I’m going to continue to do what I am doing and that’s helping find other candidates in other positions to get out there and do what’s right for their cities their states for our country, because the middle class as I said in that Iowa speech really is getting the shaft with policies coming down from in a lot of cases the state level certainly the federal level that are hurting working class Americans??

BREATHE, woman!

It seems that Palin’s star is beginning to fade. Apparently even Fox news doesn’t consider her a viable candidate. Bill O?Reilly?is on record as saying that presidential contender wannabes like Palin and Donald Trump ?would turn the 2016 Republican primary into a reality show.? Palin chastised O?Reilly, saying that all conservatives should rally around their candidates, no matter who they are, because that’s what the left does. I would like to point out that the left doesn’t have any candidates who sink to the level of Palin or Trump, so it’s not really a fair comparison.

For all of us who are secretly hoping Palin DOES decide to run, it’s probably not going to happen. Once her coffers fill up again, she’ll move back into the shadows until she’s compelled to take to the stage to criticize all the lefty libs who are stealing her spotlight by actually running for president.

This is not a popular stance in a red state like Georgia, but it is moderately better than when she lived in Birmingham.
