266k Pages On Hillary Clinton Due To Be Released As Presidential Election Nears

Hundreds of thousands of pages related to Hillary Clinton during her time as First Lady are about to be released as the nation waits anxiously in anticipation of Clinton announcing her intentions to run yet again for the office of President of the United States in the 2016 election. In all, some 266,000 pages are likely due to be released as early as April, offering a much greater view into Clinton’s political savvy and decision making as the election looms.

According to the National Archives, both President Obama and representative of former-President Bill Clinton’s official records, Bruce Lindsey, have been notified of the impending release of said documents. In addition to the papers centered on Hillary Clinton, materials from former-President Clinton’s administration will also be released as part of what the National Archives refers to as typical ?systematic processing.?

Among the papers related to former-President Clinton’s administration due to be released, as reported by Politico, are records from Clinton’s ultimate decision to sign and uphold the Defense of Marriage Act. The Defense of Marriage Act was a lousy bit of 1996 legislation that upheld a ban on same-sex marriages ? certainly a timely bit of information to come out considering Hillary’s likely run for the presidency and the Supreme Court’s looming role in deciding a federal case regarding same-sex marriage just around the corner.

Clinton claims she will make her decision as to whether or not she intends to run for the presidency clear in the first part of the year, with a likely firm decision sometime between now and March. A number of paid speaking gigs and an enormous lead in the polls suggests Hillary Clinton will more than likely take the presidential plunge once again, and have a hell of a good chance at winning, too, especially if conservatives fracture themselves too much by running too many high profile contenders, like Jeb Bush and Mitt Romney.

The National Archives and Records Administration stated in letters last week that the Clinton records would mostly be comprised of documents from her aides and those who worked on an assortment of issues with the First Lady, such as children’s issues, gender equality, national service, foreign travel, and her signature, now infamous, efforts for Medicare.

Prior to this latest release of Clinton documents, the Bill Clinton presidential library already released never before seen documents from the Clintons? time in the White House. Additionally, just last year, another document illustrated Hillary’s hefty role in President Clinton’s failed health care initiative. The document also refers to concerns about Hillary’s overall image, likely due to the Monica Lewinsky scandal.

Hillary Rodham Clinton served as the nation’s First Lady from Jan. 20, 1993 to Jan 20, 2001.
