Unbelievable! White Gun Nut Who Shot Black Police Chief Won’t Be Charged

A man identified as Dallas Horton has shot the black police chief of Sentinel, Oklahoma four times. Allegedly, the cops were responding to a call about a potential bomb at the Sentinel Community Center but they found nothing. Law enforcement then chose to go to the address from which the 911 call was thought to have been made, which is where Mr. Horton was staying.

They went into his home and when the chief walked into a bedroom he was shot at four times. They believe he would be dead if it wasn’t for his bullet proof vest. The man who shot the police chief will NOT be charged and is roaming free right now. Why? Well, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation said that they think Horton did not know that?the?people who entered his home were officers.

That’s it? Do people think that if Horton was black he would be roaming free? It has been made very clear that blacks cannot do anything at all that could even remotely be deemed threatening, or else the police can kill them with impunity. In fact, you don’t have to be threatening at all. But what if in some of these instances, blacks feared the police? What if they acted in a way that is consistent with someone who feels threatened?

That concept does not even enter American thought because we cannot fathom the idea that a black could justly be in fear of a cop and act accordingly. However, it seems that they are letting Horton off the hook by thinking that he must have acted in fear when the police raided his house. But why was just the black chief shot at? And why four times? Did the officers not have on uniforms? Did they not say anything upon entering Horton’s home? None of this makes sense.

The little we know about Horton from his Facebook account shows that he is a lunatic and probably watches Fox News religiously. According to his social media profile, Horton is afraid of Sharia Law spreading to the United States, compares America to Nazi Germany, and is upset that the White House sent officials to the Michael Brown funeral but not to Paris. He also refers to Brown as a “thug.” Horton has now deactivated his page.

Enforcement also found several guns in Horton’s home and he is described as being a “gun enthusiast” and “survivalist.” I think we need to not only focus on international problems but domestic ones. Yes, dangerous people can be of any religion and race. We put so much focus on Islamic extremism but there is? a?REAL problem with right wing nut jobs in this country.

I am not comparing anyone or group here at home to an egregious organization such as ISIS, but problems do exist and must be addressed. Those that seemingly hate Obama and this country under his rule, do not just have strong passions. They are OBSESSED with guns. They proudly carry them around (without getting shot I might add.)

The couple that shot law enforcement officers in Las Vegas in 2014 were tea party patriots and draped the officers in the “Don’t Tread on me Flag.” Yet where was the national conversation around the rhetoric that the tea party espouses? I don’t remember any. Did Horton’s personal beliefs play a part in his shooting the black chief? We do not know yet but since the media wants to bring up any and everything regarding black victims, it is perfectly acceptable to bring up these things about a white perpetrator.

What do you all think? Could a black man shoot at a law enforcement officer multiple times and not even be charged?
