Fox Business Host Tweets Racist Fake Picture – Still Thinks He’s Right

Charles Payne, one of the hosts of Fox Business News, recently went on a twitter tirade utilizing stereotypes in order to bash the African American community. Typically this would come as no surprise from any host of a Fox channel but Payne, as it were, is African American himself.

What is especially discouraging, beyond the fact that a black man would continue to perpetuate stereotypes, this man also lies in order to further push his right wing narrative. Countering the notion behind the #blackbrunch movement, Payne tweeted a photo filled with people of color rushing into a Kentucky Fried Chicken while stating the protests were the very antithesis of nonviolence. #Blackbrunch was a hashtag started over the weekend where black people would gather at restaurants to interrupt meals while people were eating, reading off the names of people of color who have been victims in the allegations of police brutality.

The problem, however, is that this picture is entirely fabricated. The picture is photoshopped and had nothing whatsoever to do with the #blackbrunch campaign. In fact, this picture was lifted from Detroit News and showed the rush for homeless people trying to get into a housing program, which would probably be something Fox would likely be willing to shame people over as well. Here is the original picture:

The picture tweeted by Payne clearly shows a concerted effort to paint black stereotypes with the photoshopping of the KFC logo onto the glass. When called out about his obvious deceit and downright race-baiting Payne doubled down claiming and posting:

“Listen, it was a mistake on my part, the picture. But everything I said was right.”

And that surely justifies his intent to defraud followers on twitter and viewers of his Cable News Program. Time and again he has shown his disingenuous divisive attempts in order to further an agenda and narrative that fits a worldview that is not representative of the truth.
