Tennessee Woman In Body Armor Shoots At Motorists, Aims Gun At Police, And Lives

A Tennessee woman dressed in body armor began firing shots at multiple people on Friday afternoon. Clearly, this is why the Second Amendment was created.

A police chase ensured, which eventually resulted in the woman’s arrest but not until she fired shots at motorists and pointed a gun at a police officer.

When police officers arrived on scene, they found two victims who explained that they were at a stop sign when the suspect, identified as Julia Shields, pulled up in a dark colored sedan and fired shots into their vehicle, police said, Times Free Press reports.

Shields struck the radiator and disabled it, according to WTVC.

Police then began receiving additional calls saying that Shields was pointing her firearm at other motorists as they drove past her.

Shields went all unregulated?militia on another vehicle in the same area until officers eventually located her sitting in her vehicle in the Stuart Heights Baptist Church Parking lot, where God must have given her a stern talking to.

But, Shields exited the parking lot in her car and that’s when officers gave chase while the suspect continued to point her freedom gun at motorists as she passed them.

When police eventually caught up to Shields, she pointed her firearm at an officer, before being taken into custody without incident or injury.

Police say that Shields was charged with 3 counts of attempted first degree murder, seven counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, felony evading arrest, and felony reckless endangerment.

Note that she’s white and was taken into custody without being shot, whereas Tamir Rice, 12, was shot dead while holding a toy gun. I just thought I’d point that out.

Hoo boy, is she lucky she didn’t have a toy gun. That would have been really bad.
