This 4-Year-Old Has A ‘Wishes Delivered’ Story By UPS That Is Just Precious

Sometimes special moments live within the mundane. That seems to be the case for a family in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

My grandfather was a UPS driver for several decades and he eventually retired from the company in the 1990’s. He delivered packages to a small West Virginia town for many years and formed close relationships with his customers that relied on him for things like Christmas presents to daily medicines.

Like my grandfather who got to know his customers, UPS driver Ernie Lagasca frequently visits 4-year-old Carson and his parents Jim and Karen. Due to Carson’s sensitivity to milk, the family receives a special formula in several deliveries per week.

Lagasca says in the video,

?I could come here three times in a week and I’d get the same reaction every single time ? all that excitement. He’s always ready, waiting.?

During the holiday season UPS has been working on the Wishes Delivered campaign. For every wish shared, they donate $1 to one of their three charity partners, in addition to granting some of the wishes.

The video below is of Carson’s “Wishes Delivered” by UPS. Be prepared to grab the tissues. You’re probably going to need them.

NBC’s Today reports,

?Neighbors have come to expect to see Carson?riding his mini brown truck?down the street at least once a week, delivering cookies and muffins from house to house and often singing as he drives.?
