Stoned BBC Reporter Too High To Report On Burning Pile Of Heroin

While reporting on the drug situation in Afghanistan, BBC correspondent Quentin Sommerville accidentally got blitzed on the drugs which were burning behind him.

Sommerville ended up inhaling smoke from an enormous burning pile of heroin, opium and hashish while attempting to look serious. That effort failed miserably.

“Burning behind me is eight and a half tons of heroin, opium, hashish, and other narcotics,” Sommerville can be heard saying before giggling like a schoolgirl.

He attempts to do his report again but Sommerville was having to much fun to finish.

Happy Place reports:

“Earlier today on Twitter, Sommerville reminded everyone that his experience is “nothing new in this business” and then linked out to a clip from Comedy Series Drop the Dead Donkey, that prophesies Sommerville’s high.”

No one was going to harsh his mellow. That’s the biggest blunt I’ve ever seen. I’m not saying that I’ve seen one, but characters in movies are seen smoking them. Yes, I’m going to go with that.
