Can we just grease up Sens. Rand Paul (R-KY)?and Marco Rubio’s?(R-FL) bodies, put them in thongs, and watch them wrestle? After all, Marco Rubio has made it a bit sporty by calling Rand Paul a cheerleader, right? Their continued slamming of each other over Pres. Obama’s announcement of normalization of our relationship with Cuba is hilarious — and transparent.?Both Paul and Rubio are?clearly taking early stabs in anticipation of the 2016 presidential election.
The basis of their dispute is Rand Paul’s statement that he thinks Obama’s move is a good one and Marco Rubio slamming the president shortly after Obama’s press conference.
Marco Rubio went on Sunday’s This Week and said:
?If he wants to become the chief cheerleader of Obama’s foreign policy, he certainly has a right to do that,? Rubio said on This Week. ?I’ll continue to oppose the Obama foreign policy on Cuba because I know it won’t lead to freedom and liberty for the Cuban people, which is my sole interest here.?
Meanwhile, Paul has taken to radio, a Time Magazine op-ed, and Twitter to slam Marco Rubio. And it’s a beautiful thing. See the awesome tweets below.
Hey @marcorubio if the embargo doesn't hurt Cuba, why do you want to keep it?

Senator @marcorubio is acting like an isolationist who wants to retreat to our borders and perhaps build a moat. I reject this isolationism.

The United States trades and engages with other communist nations, such as China and Vietnam. So @marcorubio why not Cuba?
— Senator Rand Paul (@SenRandPaul) December 19, 2014
.@marcorubio forgot to mention his support for Obama's funding of Musl. Brotherhood, arming Islamic rebels, and Hillary's war in Libya.

This Week’s?George Stephanopoulos asked Rubio he would support Paul if he becomes the GOP nominee.
?I anticipate supporting whoever the Republican nominee is and I’m pretty confident that the Republican nominee for president will be someone who has a pretty forceful view of America’s role in the world as a defender of democracy and freedom,? Rubio replied.
Watch the?ABC News clip below. We don’t have any love for Rand Paul, but we dislike Marco Rubio even more, so at least in this case, I definitely am going to be Rand Paul’s cheerleader. We also think they Cuban people have suffered more than they ever deserved to.
