No One Is Reading The Torture Report, So The Daily Dot Turned It Into 11 Fun Memes

The long-awaited CIA torture report was released this week and most of us have talked of little else. But have we actually read the report? Confession: I’ve not read all of it. I’ve skimmed it.?To help slackers like me (and most of you, come on, confess!), the Daily Dot pulled some of their famous awesomeness and pulled together these fun torture memes.

From The Daily Dot:

It’s a horrific read detailing how the agency subjected detainees, many of whom were only held due to inaccurate information, to inhuman treatment and then repeatedly lied to the White House and congressional officials about the program’s effectiveness.

The report deserves to be shared far and wide?but it’s a 525-page report chock full of bureaucratic language. Boring! To make it more sharable, we’ve compiled a set of memes that totally illustrates some of the report’s most important and eye-catching takeaways. Isn’t sharing fun?! [Weeps into hands.]

Note: I realize I don’t have to say this for most of you, but I hope you can see that this is sarcasm being used to mask something completely horrific and The Daily Dot used ?these “cute” photos of the war criminals who masterminded the torture to contrast them against the horror that they supported. ?All memes via The Daily Dot.
