This Is What An Amazon Warehouse Looks Like A Month Before Christmas

This is what the Peterborough, Cambridgeshire Amazon fulfillment center looked like on Thanksgiving day. Black Friday?Deals Week is the busiest week of the year for the mega-retailer, with at least four million items expected to be ordered and shipped. That equates for 47 items per second, with a different “lorry” leaving one of Amazon’s eight U.K. fulfillment centers?every one minute and 33 seconds. The staff work 25 hours a day to get the orders out.

The other UK centres are in Rugeley, Gourock, Doncaster, Dunfermline, Hemel Hempstead, Marston Gate, and Swansea.
