House Republicans File Suit Against Obama Over Health Law

From Anomaly100?at Liberaland:

In 2012, John Bohner said,?Obamacare is the law of the land? but it has been treated as anything but that by Republicans.

House Republicans have filed a long-threatened lawsuit on Friday against the Obama administration over unilateral actions on the health care law that they say are abuses of the president’s executive authority, The New York Times reports.

The lawsuit ? filed against the secretaries of the Health and Human Services and Treasury Departments ? focuses on two crucial aspects of the way the administration has put the Affordable Care Act into effect.

The suit accuses the Obama administration of unlawfully postponing a requirement that larger employers offer health coverage to their full-time employees or pay penalties. (Larger companies are defined as those with 50 or more employees.)

House Republicans have also threatened to either to add an immigration component to the lawsuit filed on Friday, which addresses only the Affordable Care Act, or began a separate legal action, thus filling two lawsuits against Obama for acting as if he’s the President.

Here is what I think of this. These clowns can pull these shenanigans all they want. There is NOTHING they can do to hurt our president’s legacy. He will be in the history books and his name will be known as long as there is a U.S.A. and even beyond that. Them? Hmmm….tell me this: without Googling, who was FDR’s House Speaker? If you’re not a historian, you probably don’t know. I don’t.
