America’s First Supermodel Becomes The Latest To Accuse Bill Cosby

Janice Dickinson, widely regarded as America’s first supermodel, has become the latest female accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault/rape.

Dickinson says the incident took place in 1982. She and Cosby met for dinner to discuss a possible role for her on?The Cosby Show.?Janice had a stint in rehab but Bill allegedly called her once she was out to meet at Lake Tahoe to discuss more about the role.

Dickinson says while at dinner, Bill gave her a glass of wine and a pill (which she asked for due to stomach pains) and then things went bad. She claims she woke up the next morning?with no pajamas on and semen in between her legs. She says she last remembered Mr. Cosby in a “patchwork robe,”which he dropped before getting on top?of her.

Dickinson claims that she wanted to include this incident in her 2002 autobiography but Cosby and his lawyers pressured her as well as her publisher into removing those details.

Janice says she has kept this a secret because she felt she would be called a “whore” or “slut.”?She proclaims the authenticity of her story and says she also believes the other women who have now come forward accusing Bill Cosby of sexual assault. Janice Dickinson has famously had a long history of substance abuse and what some would deem as crazy behavior. Does this hurt her credibility? Or, as she herself claims, are these just repercussions from a scarred?sexual assault survivor?

I encourage everyone to remember that it is still very hard for rape survivors to tell their stories. We wonder why survivors don’t come forward sooner or at all, yet when many do, they are not believed. This is why they don’t! Study after study has found that most stories of sexual assault are true and not fabricated. However, most perpetrators do not go to jail at all. Our culture of rape and the extreme sexual exploitation of women has to stop. This is a crisis that has been happening and will unless there is a major shift in attitudes along with changes in the law. ?Having said this, Bill has not been proven guilty of anything yet. I wonder how many more women may be out there who have been allegedly victimized by this man?

Bill Cosby’s representatives are still denying all of these allegations.
