Bachmann Claims It May Take God To Beat Hillary Clinton

Talk about bringing in the big guns. ?Representative Michele Bachmann (R-MN), appearing on Christian radio show host Jan Markell’s show, claimed that polls showing presumed 2016 Democratic Nominee Hillary Clinton easily defeating any Republican that was put up against her in a head to head match up did not mean that Hillary’s place in the oval office is a “fait accompli”. ?According to the congresswoman from Minnesota, there’s always the unexpected appearance of divine intervention. ?Although it would come with a price:

“If we cry out to God, we have no idea what the Lord God will do for us in 2016.?

Ms. Bachmann cited “historical reference,” albeit a 3000 year old example, by bringing up the story of David and Goliath, where diminutive David defeated the giant warrior Goliath with a rock launched from a simple sling.

She went on to tell host Jan Markell:

?All David needed was one smooth stone to fell the giant. It wasn’t the stone, it wasn’t David, it was the strong right arm of a holy God.”

Ironically, while Congresswoman Bachmann thought out loud that God could be the “October surprise” of 2016, she cautioned her fellow Republicans against relying too much on any one individual or president being “our savior.” ?She called for her party to sort out how it uses technology:

?We don’t have a very good technology to win elections, all of that needs to be done.”

Which is doubly ironic considering the technology in the example she used to show an underdog defeating a giant warrior involved a rock and a piece of cloth.

Ms. Bachmann also, perhaps unwittingly, conceded that the Republican party may have more serious problems than the technology they use to deliver their message. She said the party needs to sort out it’s message and went onto say:

“Ultimately what we need to do is focus on what our ‘positive, big picture message solution’ needs to be.?

That may be something the Republicans want to sort out before they bring in God in 2016.
