I stumbled across this short video last night and I think it explains in very easy-to-understand language exactly what “global warming” is. Honestly, even the most obtuse person can get a basic grasp of what this is about.
Climate change is complicated, of course, and this doesn’t even begin to address all of the aspects of it. For example, the right wing confusion about “why is it cold in my city today if there’s global warming” won’t be alleviated today, most likely. We hate to even use the phrase “global warming” because it confuses them further. I’ll find another short video to go into that, but for now, this is a good start.
