Hugely popular R&B artist?Chris Brown took to Twitter to give his thoughts on the recent Ebola crisis.
Just last week, Chris tweeted that he thought Ebola was a form of population control.
I don’t know … But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. Shit is getting crazy bruh.

This tweet was re-tweeted over 44,000 times. For those of you unfamiliar with Twitter and how it works, a re-tweet is where you simply click a button to tweet about something someone else has said verbatim. Once re-tweeted, everyone on your timeline will be able to see their tweet as well. Not every re-tweet is an endorsement, but when Chris Brown speaks, millions of people listen.
Mainstream media is not suggesting that Ebola is a form of population control, somehow deliberately sent to infect humans. It is being treated like any other medical crisis. We have raised alarm and seem to be trying ways to combat it as well as treat those who are already infected.
It would be easy to dismiss Chris’ comments, but I have seen other?people on social media say the same thing: that this is a form of population control. Theories such as these have arisen before, most popularly with the HIV/AIDS epidemic globally. I wonder if many people are holding on to beliefs that governments or other powerful entities can infect humans with deadly diseases and no one find out about it.
Skeptics can be found everywhere, but Chris Brown is one of the most famous young artists in the world. Having such a prominent figure espouse such controversy can persuade others to think the same, if they weren’t already thinking it on their own.
