After a brutal ad was released in which the Agenda Project Action Fund blamed GOP budget cuts for the lack of funding for research on Ebola, Erick Erickson responded in the only way he knows how: blaming ?fat lesbians.?
Erickson gave examples of what he considers to be wasteful spending such as studies on gun violence. Because there is totally no gun violence in the U.S., right?
He went on to write:
?For example, instead of studying Ebola, the National Institutes of Health were studying the propensity of lesbians to be fat,? while linking to a study.
Erickson concluded his blog post with:
?Hey, and let’s not forget all the money the CDC spent to convince people to stop smoking and now we need tobacco to manufacture the drug to fight Ebola. Classic.?
While discussing his allegations of ?fat lesbians? sucking all the research dollars out of Ebola, my gay nonpolitical BFF pointed to her butt and said, ?He means people like me?? I said, ?Yes.? She asked, ?Who is this man?? I said, ?Exactly.?
A top U.S. health official said today that we would have an Ebola vaccine by now if there had not been so much budget cutting.
