When New York bartender Laura Ramadei was groped by a hedge fund titan while serving him a drink in a family-friendly restaurant, it was the proverbial “straw that broke the camel’s back.”
Brian Lederman was at the trendy Soho restaurant Lucky Strike with a friend and when he ordered a drink, Ramadei asked him if he’d be eating. He then put his hand on her backside and asked if he could have her “to go.” Ramadei?was shocked and Lederman left soon after, leaving a credit card receipt with a $2 dollar tip.
Ramadei, fed up with this kind of treatment from customers, took to social media to vent in the?open “thank you note” that is embedded below, telling him that he “broke this tired ass camel’s back.”
Laura Ramadei gave notice to her employer after this incident. Sometimes enough is enough. Lederman denies that he touched Ramadei and swears revenge, saying that he knows everyone in NYC and she’ll never work again. From the New York Post:
?I’ve grabbed plenty of girls? asses in my life,? Brian H. Lederman boasted to The Post. ?But I’ve never grabbed hers.?
He clarified (really badly):
?I clearly remember making a joke when the girl said, ?What would you like,??? he said. ?I kiddingly said, ?I would like you to go with nothing on it.???
?That f?king c?t, for her to do something like that is pretty ridiculous,? he told The Post.
?I will make sure she doesn’t get another job in New York City. I know everybody,? he raged. ?The bar owners, the club owners ? that’s a terrible thing to write about somebody.?
Somehow I doubt this little weasel of a man will have that kind of power over Laura’s life.?May this be the catalyst for bright things for her. Let us know your thoughts at the Liberal America Facebook page. Sign up for our free daily newsletter to receive more great stories like this one.
