Christian Radio Host: LGBT Victories Promote ‘Lawlessness’

In light of the recent Supreme Court decision not to take up multiple state’s challenges against lower courts overturning those states’ bans on marriage equality, Janet Mefferd, a?Christian radio talk show host, claims the U.S. Judicial system is promoting ‘lawlessness’ with decisions that come down on the side of gay marriage and LGBT’s rights. Ms. Mefford opined:

?The bigger question is: how have we lost our right to govern ourselves? That’s what we’re losing.?

?They get away with it. You just push the lawless limit and see how much you can get away with, and unfortunately, people are getting away with an awful lot. I don’t understand why there aren’t more Christians yelling and screaming ? nicely, of course ? on this issue of lawlessness. Do we not care about lawlessness? How do you have a republic without law, the rule of law and the respect for law? How does a republic survive when it loses respect for the law??

Christian Radio Host Janet Mefferd claims recent court victories for the LGBT community promotes ‘lawlessness’.

During an exchange with a caller, Ms. Mefferd agreed that it was ‘cowardice’ that motivated the courts not to take action and uphold the bans on gay marriage in the states that had that banned overturned by a lower court.

Ms. Mefferd made headlines last year when she predicted that anti-gay activists will one day be treated similar to how the Jews were treated during the Holocaust.? On her facebook?page, she claimed?she could see America moving “toward a day when every Christian who supports real marriage might be made to wear a yellow patch on the sleeve, a “badge of shame” to identify us as ‘anti-gay haters.’ Kind of like the Jews in Nazi Germany.”

Ms. Mefford stood by those remarks and concluded her affirmation of her stance by claiming:

“We’re not the haters. We’re the HATED.”
