Texas GOP Lawmaker: Being Christian In U.S. Like Being Jewish In Nazi Germany

On ?Tuesday, a newly elected West Texas state senator — Charles Perry, a Republican, of course — started off right away with the crazy — during his inaugural speech. No need to wait!

Just a few moments after laying his hand on the Bible and taking the oath of office, he started in on abortion and gays. Perry claims that there is a “spiritual battle” against religion in the U.S. and that it looks a heck of a lot like Nazi Germany, with Christians being persecuted in the U.S. as the Jews were persecuted there.

From the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal:

?There were 10,000 people that were paraded into a medical office under the guise of a physical. As they stood with their back against the wall, they were executed with a bullet through the throat. Before they left, 10,000 people met their fate that way,? Perry said.

?Is it not the same than when our government continues to perpetuate laws that lead citizens away from God? The only difference is that the fraud of the Germans was more immediate and whereas the fraud of today’s government will not be exposed until the final days and will have eternal-lasting effects.?

Perry insists that God has a place in the government. Oh really? So that whole separation of church and state thing…..?

He promises to prioritize state funding and balance the budget without raising taxes. But the Texas budget isn’t what concerns him, he says. It’s the “spiritual battle for the spirit of this nation and the soul of its people.”

Abortion! Homosexual sex! These are the big issues, he says.

?Where is that giant of a nation that was founded on the eternal and never-changing values of a loving God and the desire to share that? I don’t recognize it on so many levels today,? Perry said.

He continued:

?Roe v. Wade condemned 55 million innocent and defenseless souls that cried out for righteousness from a God who is just ? we will answer for that as a nation.?

Perry has the full support of a local pastor. Jeff McCreight of Rock City Church also compared abortion to the 11 people people who were killed by Hitler’s evil empire.

?The value of human life is continually being attacked by a 41-year-old Holocaust called abortion, which makes Hitler look like a humanitarian,? McCreight said.”?Someone’s gotta fight against that [the attack].”

Perry said that it was a recent trip to a concentration camp that made him realize the goal?of the government to pass laws against religion that will persecute Christians just as Jewish people in the Holocaust were persecuted. Hello, you numbskull! It’s called upholding the Constitution of the United States.

Perry represents the largest district in Texas, District 28, which is made up of 51 counties.Let us know your thoughts at the Liberal America Facebook page. Sign up for our free daily newsletter to receive more great stories like this one.
