My husband linked me to this music video. He's always picking up on new music on Youtube. At first, I wasn't impressed. I'll be honest. I felt like I was listening to some bad 80s music. However, I paid attention to the actual video, and Kiesza's "Giant In My Heart" is now my new jam.
Why?
The actual video is empowering which gives the actual song a whole new meaning. You have to wait until the end to really see the empowering part, but it's totally worth it. This can not only apply to the LGBTQ community, but it can really apply to anyone who is living their life hiding who they really are or want to be. So watch, enjoy, and be you!
