Louisiana Cop: Pull A ‘Ferguson’ And Take ‘African Monkeys’ Out

baton rouge cop racist text

A Baton Rouge, Louisiana police officer is being investigated because of dangerously racist texts he sent to an unidentified person. WBRZ reported that the string of texts read:

“They are nothing but a bunch of monkeys. The only reason they have this job is the n*****, n***** in them.”

And:

“I wish someone would pull a Ferguson on them and take them out. I hate looking at those African monkeys at work…I enjoy arresting those thugs with their saggy pants.”

NAACP state Pres. Ernest Johnson ?issued a statement:

“I will reach out to the Baton Rouge NAACP president, Michael Mcclanahan,” Johnson said. “He and I will reach out to the mayor and chief of police and call for the resignation and firing today.”

The officer under investigation covers a part of town that is a predominantly African American community.

Police Chief Carl Dabadie said that the investigation could take several days and East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor Pres. Kip Holden declined to comment. The name of the officer hasn’t been released.
