We generally have the idea that we make friends randomly, or even based on simple logistics. It’s just common sense that we’re going to befriend people who grow up with us, or go to college with us, or later, work with us. But what if there’s more to it than that? Science shows that there is a little more depth to our reasons for picking some of our friends.
