On Tuesday evening, Texas Gov. Rick Perry turned himself in to authorities on abuse of power charges and we have a copy of his mugshot, courtesy of Battleground Texas. Earlier this week, we wrote up Perry’s indictment for felony abuse of official capacity.
Here is the governor in his mugshot, taken on Tuesday.
As reported by Austin’s KXAN-TV, the embattled governor surrendered at approximately 5pm. CNN reports that Perry was defiant as he was booked on two felony charges. After getting booked, he “celebrated” by going for ice cream.

Did you guys know that the Oxford English Dictionary recently added the word “douchebaggery” to its world renowned and iconic dictionary? I believe it was just in time for Gov. Perry’s indictment.
