Yes, There Really Is An Online ‘N-gger Owner’s Manual’

Honestly, nothing should surprise us anymore. But yeah, I was sort of shocked when I was using Stumbleupon last week and “stumbled” onto a website that is so blatantly hostile and racist that I can’t believe it’s not been yanked down.

Tightrope.cc’s motto is “It’s not illegal to be White…yet!” It seems to exist for the purpose of selling racist merchandise that includes a hoodie with the words “Stand Your Ground” on it. But perhaps the most shocking ?thing on the site is “The Official N-gger Owner’s Manual.”

I can’t even share a lot of the verbiage here in this article, but it starts with this:

Tightrope.cc

And ends with this (in very tiny print at the bottom):

** This manual is for entertainment purposes only. Don’t do any of this shit and then blame me.**

Are there really people left in the world — even racist ones — who find this kind of thing “entertaining”?

In between those two blurbs, there are tips for “configuring,” feeding and housing, getting rid of people who die, etc…Isn’t some of this stuff illegal?

How is this site staying up? Shouldn’t their hosting provider be ripping this down?

I joined their discussion forum, where you can find exactly what you might expect. I also emailed the owner of the page and he responded that he no longer gives interviews. He was cordial.
