Abby Haglage from The Daily Beast has done exhaustive research and pulled together an extensive list of corporations and non-profits that have been waiting for the Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision so that they can opt-out of Obamacare’s contraception mandate and screw over women.

From The Daily Beast:

A number already have. More than 50 for-profit companies and 59 non-profits have been filed lawsuits against the ACA’s contraception mandate. The majority of these rulings were stayed by courts pending the resolution of Hobby Lobby’s case.

Gretchen Borchelt, senior counsel and director of state reproductive health policy for the National Women’s Law Center (NWLC), reports that more than 50 for-profit and 59 non-profits have already filed lawsuits against the Obama contraception mandate and the majority of these cases were stayed by courts pending the ruling on the Hobby Lobby case. Lower courts are now expected by apply the Supreme Court decision to these cases.

On a side note, did you know that Justices Scalia, Roberts, Alito, Thomas, and Kennedy are all Catholic?

The ramifications will likely be staggering. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg pointed out in her dissent that Mars — the candymaker — qualifies as a “closely held company” yet employs more than 70,000 people.

Here is the list. Expect many more to follow. ?(*= Both Nonprofit + Profit cases)
