Cheeky Teen Snaps Selfie With The Queen On Belfast Tour (VIDEO)

Kids will be kids, eh? When Queen Elizabeth II visited Belfast, Ireland last week, one young fellow couldn’t resist the opportunity to do what most teens nowadays do: snap a selfie with Her Majesty in the background.

14-year-old Jack Surgenor was in the crowd to greet the queen and her husband, Prince Phillip, when they were visiting St. George’s Market. The visit was a part of their three-day Northern Ireland tour.

What did the queen think of these antics? She looked a bit disapproving, and royal editor Tim Ewart described her as appearing “bemused.” The 88-year-old queen has a slew of grandchildren, so she’s probably mellowed out some on that whole royal protocol thing. Maybe? This may be the first time anyone’s ever snapped a quick selfie with her, however.
