The Tea Party Is Determined To Move America Backwards- One Local Politician At A Time (VIDEO)

Once again, it seems the Tea Party is determined to move America backwards; one local politician at a time. This time it comes in the form of backing 41-year-old lawyer, Chris McDaniel in a close GOP primary race out of Mississippi.

Mr. Daniels, who is vying for a spot in the U.S. Senate by challenging the incumbent 76-year-old Republican Sen. Thad Cochran, is what some would call ?out of touch.?

This past week, Mr. McDaniel gave his opinion on the direction and culture of America, and is quoted as saying:

?There are millions of us who feel like strangers in this land, an older America passing away, a new America rising to take its place. We recoil from that culture. It’s foreign to us. It’s alien to us. It’s time to stand and fight. It’s time to defend our way of life again.?

For the sake of enlightenment Mr. McDaniel, that feeling you speak of is called progress. Progress in civil rights, marriage equality, responsible gun control, and little things such as the internet, that I’m sure you use in your ventures as a lawyer.

Evidently, these are the types of things that the Tea Party and Mr. McDaniel ?recoils from.?

While the Tea Party has 15 non-negotiable Core Beliefs, number 15 states ?Traditional family values are encouraged.? Quite a wide definition for sure. Who’s tradition? What values?

Maybe we can take a cue from our old pal Bill O?Reilly. While the Tea Party has surely gained some traction in the last few years, in 2012, Mr. O?Reilly gave a specially heartfelt plea in which he stated:

?I believe traditional America can come back, but it will take a very special person to make that happen.?

As O?Reilly went on to rant about things such as federal programs, abortion, and President Obama winning elections on the votes of women, blacks, Asians, and especially Hispanics, one could not help but envision the Tea Party’s and O?Reilly’s vision.

Complete with women being obedient and in the kitchen, poor child labor laws, great productivity from slaves of many different colors, rampant discrimination, and the great feeling that people just knew their place.

Ah, the good old days of traditional family values.

So keep in mind during this year’s midterm elections that these are the types of politicians that the Tea Party is endorsing. And with some recent success.
