How Much Do You Know About US Poverty And Inequality? Take This Quiz.

Do you think you know a lot about poverty and inequality? You can take a quiz at The Stanford Center on Poverty and Inequality to find out. Some of the answers may shock you. We are in worst shape than many people realize. The poverty level in the U.S. is almost that of North Korea.

This chart from the Stanford website?– ?child poverty statistics of 40 countries — illustrates how dire our situation here in the U.S. is. Why is this level of children living in poverty acceptable to the right wing? Is this “OK” in a nation where the majority of people identify as Christians? What does this say about capitalism? It doesn’t work.
