When this math teacher becomes a stay-at-home dad, crazy creative learning began to happen.
When I say “crazy,” I mean CRAZY COOL and CRAZY SMART and CRAZY CREATIVE!
We’ve all seen the cute pancakes, breakfasts, and lunches that creative parents are making for their kids, but former math teacher and stay-at-home dad Nathan Shields takes it to a whole ‘nother level and makes pancake making (and eating!) into a classroom, teaching history, science, literature, math, pop culture, and more.
And he doesn’t just make the pancakes himself and serve them up. It’s an interactive learning activity for the kids. They’re fully engaged in this. These kiddos are going to be some smart cookies (pun totally intended).
This wasn’t just a one-time thing or a short-lived enthusiasm. The pancake photos on his blog go on and on and on.
The intricate detailing on these pancakes is profound. This man is math teacher, everything teacher, chef, artist, all in one.
Check out some of these amazing creations. And wouldn’t it just figure that his pancakes are all vegan? Just wow. I feel like a total pancake loser now!
