Were the Founding Fathers marijuana smokers? Maybe. This awesome video from Comedy Central suggests (OK outright claims) that they did. Fact: they grew hemp AKA marijuana, primarily, it seems for clothing, ropes, etc…However, there was not a taboo on marijuana smoking in the 1700’s, so who can say?
Many politicians have admitted to at least trying marijuana. I’m going to guess that our founders may have partaken, at least for medicinal purposes.
