As if this story can’t get any more bizarre, embattled former Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been banned not only from the NBA for life, but also from Nevada’s most notorious house of pleasure: The Bunny Ranch.

Dennis Hof, the owner of The Bunny Ranch, has banned Sterling from even entering the doors of the Carson City establishment and any of Hof’s other six Nevada establishments. Further, Hof wants nothing further to do with the racist coach. A primary concern seems to be respect for his employees. From? The Huffington Post:

“At any given time, 20 to 23 percent of the girls?here are African-American,” Hof said. “And they’re smoking hot. Some of them were crying this morning so we’re doing this for them as well. We don’t need racists or bigots at the Bunny Ranch.”

Respect for his clientele is also a factor that weighed in his decision.

“A lot of NBA players come here to party,” Hof told The Huffington Post. “Out of respect to them, we have banned Sterling from coming here.”

Hof won’t confirm whether or not Sterling is a frequenter of his business, though.

“I can tell you this: Johnny Buss, one of the owners of the Los Angeles Lakers, and I have had a dual birthday party at the Bunny Ranch for the last 18 years, so a lot of NBA people have been here,” he said.

Hof makes a practice of banning high-profile people from his establishments. He’s banned the “Duck Dynasty” guys because they make their living killing animals and they’re homophobic. He’s also banned Michael Vick because of his cruelty to animals.

“We don’t want him here. I couldn’t guarantee his safety from the girls. They love animals.”

Sterling’s girlfriend is welcome at The Bunny Ranch, says Hoff. She has a free lifetime pass — and a job offer. But it’s not what you think. From The Bunny Ranch Blog:

Ms. Stiviano was brave enough to stand up for what she knew to be right in spite of the financial repercussions to her, and any business partnership would benefit from such a selfless display of ethics. I would like to offer her a position with our ownership group as vice president of player relations. This team has been ripped apart, and having the woman who righteously pled the case for racially equality to this old Jim Crow throwback would be the perfect choice to mend the fences with those men on the court.

Furthermore, he is thinking of buying the team and making his partners his employees and clients.

Additionally, Hof announced that in anticipation of Sterling being forced to sell his franchise, he has taken the beginning steps to form a prospective ownership group with his girls?and clients to purchase the team. “Teams like The Green Bay Packers have had great luck in allowing their fans to participate in ownership” said Hof. “I think the notion of an embattled team like The Clippers being rescued from the clutches of a hateful racist by a multi ethnic collection of successful business women is just what The NBA needs to improve the tarnished image of the franchise”.
